Here you can see the plastic sheeting we used to cover the surface of the concrete once it had gone hard. This is to keep the water in the concrete mix from evaporating, which could cause cracking on the surface - which isnt ideal if you have steel reinforcement only a few inches down. Our reinforcement is only nominal, and only in two places, but we covered it up anyway. This will all be removed tomorrow, and provided there isnt any damage that needs to be rectified, our foundations will be finished :)
