We have now finished two walls! Admittedly two of the shortest walls in the house, but we've finished them nontheless. The kitchen back wall includes the detail of the incoming water pipe passing through it, this we did by cutting a v groove in the bottom of the middle block, filling this with mortar, with the 25mm MDPE pipe passing through it. I should have a picture of this tonight.

Weather is forecast to be better on Wednesday and Thursday, so we should be able to make progress with the rest of the blockwork in the next couple of days, then we are off to Scotland at the weekend for a week's holiday.
