Notice the dark coloured mortar we're using. As it dries out it will lighten to a sort of grey colour. You can see this effect a bit on the corner brick that we laid last week - it is lighter than the other bricks we laid yesterday as we watered them before laying them. The only thing we had to hand was a watering can, so it felt like I'd watered the bricks to make them grow and then they grew into a brick wall!
Hi, best of luck with your build, i was just having a look and wondered why you have gone to the trouble of mitre cutting and gluing engineering bricks on the corners of the over site as i have never seen this done?
