Here's the studwork around our front door: We finished the back wall panel in the dark. Hitting nails in the dark isn't great fun. Luckily I escaped without smashing my thumb to pieces. There's one more double stud to put in the back wall, to make the transition between the high bit and the low bit. The front door frame was a bit of a bugger, as obviously it has to be millimetre-perfect, we reckon we've done a good job - the top beam is perfectly level. The proof of the pudding, of course, will be when the front door frame arrives. But we think we've got it nailed, touch wood (puns intended) :)
