Sole plate for internal walls: We used the same 1m threaded bars for this as the external walls, but this time we're able to use the bits we cut off , which will save us a little bit of money. Technically this is a bit of a diverson from what we should be doing, but it's all got to be done at some point.

hope you didn't penetrate the DPM when you drilled down into the concrete base?
ReplyDeleteNo, the fixings only go 40mm into the concrete, and the slab is 150mm thick
