Here's some of the first fix plumbing we did at the weekend: This is all for the bathroom, as this will be plasterboarded over for the sink and toilet pipework. The pipework for the bath and shower, and that going into the airing cupboard, will be covered by the bath:
We've left T's available for centre mounted taps in the bath, and seperately for a shower at one end. We will blank off what we end up not using.
Here's the stopcock, check valve and drain tap that goes onto the MDPE incoming pipe:


All very shiny.

  1. I'd be wary of putting push fit joints inside a wall.. you're relying on whatever seals that are in there not to deteriorate and leak over time..

    I'd sleep much better with soldered connections.. but that's just me maybe..
