Yesterday we put in the wiring for the colour-changing LED lights. 5m of cable is JUST long enough to place the lights and controller where we wanted them, which is good news.
The remainder of the first fix electrics will be done on Saturday, also Emma will start installing the wall insulation and fix any small pieces of mesh possible by one person.
Sunday we'll get to work with more mesh, and also make up the plinth for the heat pump to stand on.
Ecovision rang to confirm they will come to site on Monday to plumb in the heat pump and hot water cylinder, so Emma is taking a half day to oversee that, and to start installing the wall insulation.

In October 2008 we completed the purchase of a plot of land in Cheltenham, on which we are going to build our first house together. This blog will chart our progress on the build, and life in general, as I personally fulfil one of my life's ambitions - to build my own house :)
