Central Networks did clear everything away yesterday. Severn Trent turned up with some traffic lights (!) this morning.

We've had word that our kitchen is going to be delayed until the week commencing the 29th of November, which is slightly disappointing but ultimately not really an issue.

Last night I started assembling the toilet. No idea why - it's going to be a few months yet before we can actually use it! But anyway, the cistern is now bolted to the base and the fill valve and flush valve are installed. All the other plumbing is done and isolators turned off, and the main stopcock is off aswell. The only connection left to make is the one from the shower valve to the bath, as we need to move the bath away for the moment to finish the wall.
