I have installed all of the drainer gubbins underneath, but it's going to need some modification to fit onto the pipe that goes to the drain. Stupid Ikea. I also struggled to drill the hole for the tap, but a diamond-tipped or titanium holecutter should soon sort that out.

We also had the pleasure of a rather unusual bird in our garden on saturday. Not a rare bird, but rare to see one in a suburban environment! No idea what it was doing here:
