Here's the site as it stands now: The back and side walls are now finished! As is the short wall under where our front door will be, which you can see in the photo, and the corresponding short wall on the other (kitchen) side of the house, which you cant see in the photo. So no more blockwork to lay, apart from the 20 or so blocks we have left over which will be for the lower part of the internal partition walls.

The remaining 'to do' list fits on a single sheet of A4 paper - and that's everything we need to do to finish STAGE 1 of the build, which will be the ground floor complete and ready to build the timber frame walls!
